OnStar is another reason to avoid the TrailBlazer. Big Brother has entered your automobile.

Sure you can get one hell of a deal now

incorrect, its the last year for the EXT which is the extended model, 7passenger with 3rd row seat

they're dropping it because its cutting in2 uplander sales (you can lease a fully equipped tblazer ext lt cheaper then a base uplander)

The trailblazer is one of the lowest rated SUV's. As other people said it has a solid engine, but is otherwise not very good.

I assume you and your girlfriend don't have any kids, so then why something so big and heavy. Something the size of an Escape or Vue (if she likes GM) will get you better gas mileage and is more practical in nearly every other aspect. With the exception of maybe .001% of the population truck based SUVs are serious overkill.

It nearly set the record for recalls in a single year. You also have to deal with GM's hideous interior (and I mean that in the nicest way), and the fact it's going to depreciate "like a rock."

I would stay way the hell away from it.

hmmmmmmmm

the explorer is prone to rolling over, the trailblazer is not.

According to test results from the NHTSA, 4WD Trailblazers from 2004 on seem to be pretty stable. 2WD Trailblazers and those from 2003 and earlier are more problematic.

Don't do donuts with them, my friend has blown out three power steering pumps haha, they can't do burnouts, but drift well on dirt roads.
