My co-worker has one, They are really roomy. I drove it and its wasnt bad to drive but I like the ford explorer better cause it feels more like a truck. The chevy felt like a van to me.

Despite their lack of reliability, tendency to roll over and other safety concerns, extremely high maintenance costs, the danger that they pose to other motorists sharing the same highway and their notoriously bad gas mileage, I am sure that you could find a worse vehicle if you looked hard enough.

On the plus side, there are plenty available at rock bottom prices. Any Trailblazer owner with half a brain has already unloaded it and moved onto something trendier and/or having better gas mileage.

I know four people with newer Trialblazers. They all like 'em, but if they don't stop complaining about gas mileage I'm gonna flip.

Excellent engines, decent-good in most other respects, poor gas mileage isn't uncommon.

They are definitely behind the curve, even in the truck-based mid-size sport utilities. The engine (I-6) is the best feature, but everything else is middling to awful. It's inexcusable for a vehicle of its size to have to become even larger to get good cargo room and a third seat.

Poor comfort, handling, safety, and reliability are just more reasons to avoid.

Couple years used, if she needs the room, get an Explorer or Mountaineer. If not, get a Pathfinder.

hmmmmmmmm

have you ever driven a trailblazer? if you have im sure you noticed that it sits lower then the explorer and that it also does not have warnings on the visors about rollover (almost all ford suvs & trucks do!!!) if i had to guess, i'd say that ford doesnt put those warnings there because they want to, they do it because they're forced to. the explorer is prone to rolling over, the trailblazer is not.

im a salesman at a local chevrolet dealership, the only complaint i've heard about the trailblazer is gas mileage, which is mostly dependant on driving habits and usage.

GM offers Onstar and also XM radio standard, Ford has nothing comparable to Onstar available and satellite radio is an aftermarket dealer installed accessory.

sorry to ramble

2006 is the last production year for them. Most SUV's are gas hogs so why not?
Sure you can get one hell of a deal now
