Its official.

I've seemed to have misplaced my Wheel Lock Key when installing my winter tires. I don't know what the hell I did with it.

I recently had my rear hub replaced (wheel bearing), and just had the shop chisel off the old locking nut and put on a new lug nut.

I imagine that the wheel locks are pretty similar for all the SVTs, so I'm hoping that I could borrow someone's lock and replace my lug nuts with regular lug nuts. To be honest, I'm not really worried about anyone steeling my wheels anyways.

This is certainly the kiss of death now that I've posted about it. I'm driving around without a key. I will now have a flat tire on my way home. I just know it.

Thanks All,

Most Junk yards, err Auto Recycling Yards Have special sockets that will take most locking lug nuts off. I suggest call a local yard and see if they'd be willing to help you get yours off and then buy a new set.
