when was the last meet, and how many attended?

Also: What mods were you thinking of?

Sadeeq,

Well, nothing to serious...

I wanted to remove my door guards, maybe putting in the Mystique rear dome light, installing the Mystique door lights, re-content the glove box light and/or the clock from the 98 Contour, and also wiring the fog lamps so they work as DRLs too...

Is that a big enough list for ya! laugh

I don't want to do anything that would void the warranty, eventhough I can see my dealer voiding it for any one of the mods I've listed...

Oh...

Almost forgot to answer your first questions.

The last meet was last year if I remember correctly, down in Portland. Some time early in the Spring. We met in a parking lot across from a brewery were we left for a fun drive, borderline autocross event, which went back to the brewery where we had some drinks and lunch.

There was about 12 ppl there and 10 cars. A good turnout for how spread out our territory is...

Anybody else have any details that I may be forgeting...?

I've gotta work Mon.-Sat. so I'm limited to sundays. I do however have the 9-12th off this month. If you guys meet some other time I need 2 week advanced notice, but would love to get together. No one knows about these cars where I live except an SVT buddy of mine and I can never get anyone to race me. frown Except one time a newer galant was waiting for me ina Fred Meyer parking lot and followed me to the highway, then I killed him no problem. that is about it. Anyway, sorry for the long post.

Last years meet was at the Portland Brewey. It's a good place to meet, not to hard to get to and has a nice big parking lot.

Maybe this year we could do a dyno day. A good friend of mine has a VW race shop with a dyno. It's right outside Portland. He's always hassleing me about dynoing my car. This might be great chance for all of us to see what our mods are really makeing. I know that my exhuast and intake make at least 40HP (just kidding). Let me know what you guys think.

Dusten,
Monday's event is a Bremerton Sports Car Club meet.
Info at Western Washington Sports Car Council . Look under the calendar for events.
I'm hoping to get there by 8:30AM for the morning run. It's only $19 to enter!!
This will be my first time on track. Anybody wanna join me?

As always... I'm down for whatever.
I was thinking we could all meet at a club race day. We could all enter and run one after the other.

Sadeeq,
What type of racing is this? Is it 'cone racing' where your timed through a course of orange cones, or where your actually on a race track, whether your racing with others or being timed?

However, I'm not so daring that I would race my car with other ppl on a track, where 'rubbing is racing!' :p

It's just 'Cone racing'.
