03-04 cobra would WALK hector...I've been in a few...they are stupid fast....oh wait but on these boards racing from a roll doesn't count...

Racing from a roll counts Pete, but the last time I checked, theres no RFRHRA (Racing From a Roll Hot Rod Association)  In a street race the Cobra will need to hook-up, obviously, but at the dragstrip a modded Cobra (pulley/exhaust/intake/Superchip) would beat Hectors EVO in its current set-up, he'll say as much when he reads this. The Cobra is an awesome car, no doubt and what you can get out of them for about $1000 in mods is sick, but check out that street fire site because I've seen modded Cobras vs. modded EVO and all I can say is "launch, hook and over" for the Cobras I've seen, sorry

Im gonna move very soon soo thats obviously first. After that i'll check the funds and go from there on the Cobra/Lightning. As far as the CSVT i guess we'll just have to race roger.

bone stock 03/04 Cobra > stock to lightly modded EVO
If you can cut a 2.0 60' with the Cobra, I don't care if the EVO pulls a 1.5, it's lights out Mitsubishi.
That $1000 - $2000 in mods for the Cobra, you're looking at 11's without batting an eye.

I remember watching Hot Rod TV and they spent $600.00 total on the pulley and SCT to get 440 RWHP out of the Cobra, amazing. IMO, with a better exhaust and CAI, that number is sure to go up another 20 hp, making those 11's VERY easy  The rule of thumb is this, "theres 20 cars you can beat and theres 20 cars that can beat you!"
