No. Spec uses a different pressure plate and on the stage 2, 3, and 4 they use more agressive puck material. It will definitely feel different than stock on the higher stages. The stage one is made similarly to stock but with higher clamp loads and beefier components, that may be why it feels similar; though honestly with the spec pressure plate it almost certainly has to have a different engagement point.
