I would never try asnd tank the engine without the harness. To much of a chance of missing something on the harness and damamging the wiring. Plus it is SO easy to disconnect the harness fromt the car. There are only two connections to the rest of the car (ECU and the "box" connector on the drivers strut tower).

The wiring will be taken off and installed with the motor out, I have to fix it first due to the corrosion. Damn I can't wait to get my car on the road, I'm just going to say the hell with the CAT Cams as well. My interest for project SVT has declined alot, just going to make it a nice cruiser and get something faster next year.

Why did you give up ont he cams. i thought we all came to a consensus that it was doable.

Sounds like he just wants to get it running right now since it's been sitting almost a year.
I wonder what he'd sell the cams for?

That is correct I'm just getting fed up and want to drive my car. This car is just a crusier car that will look good and have a bit of grunt to spin the 19s  Besides I figure a 3L with headers, y-pipe, exhaust, XCal2,wiht nitrous and built up transmission is enough to have fun with  .
As for selling my cams I would like to ge twhat I paid for them which was $1300 Canadian. Some say thats crazy but hey you gotta pay for rare stuff.
