i actually just teflon-taped the PS pump, Im about to put it back in and fire it up again, and hopefully it doesnt leak.

its only idled in the driveway so far, hopefully thatll change this weekend

Been there and done that last month!!! I tried all forms of teflon tape and it won't stop the leak.

FUNNY HOW I KEEP HITTING THE NOSE ON THE HEAD so to speak with those issues you've been having. at least IMO.

The PS pump on our cars rarely goes bad unless damaged.
Anyway, I couldn't stop the leak so I ended up putting on a new line. It is a real PITA to do!
You have to drop the subframe at least a few inches and will require realignment, assuming you don't break anything.

You need to order a new teflon ring from Bill Jenkins. He has the part number and sent me one. If you can install it without damaging it then your problem will probably be solved! It's only like a couple of bucks, you'll pay more for shipping.
Well, at least you can slow the leak down a lot with the teflon tape. If you are lucky you might be able to stop it from leaking or reduce it enough so that you can drive it and see if you have any other issues.
Put about 5 layers on that sucker with a taper, progressively thicker as you work your way back to the edge of the threads near the outside edge of the fitting. BE sure not to get teflon inside that breaks off and goes into the system.
