i have mine on the softest setting and i plan basically not to play with it. adjusting the dampening to the "firm" setting is likely to wear the shocks more quickly, so i have been told. even though out of the box they are already on the softest setting i think that are very compliant over city streets and adjusting them at all is not necssary for daily use.

Full hard all the time.....I keeps it GANGSTA!
don't worry about wearing them out, because they have a lifetime warranty.

And besides, at full firm they don't move so how can the possibly wear out???!!!
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

I have my fronts set at 1 full turn off of full. My rears are set at about 3/4 of a turn off of full. I found this to actually be a more complying setup and smoother ride than full soft. Just some thought.
