I agree, it's no mystery why everyone (including myself) is being a skeptic. I joined a gym about a month ago and I'm amazed at these people who have obviously been working out for years who do EVERY exercise completely wrong. I took weight training 2 semesters in highschool, and know some people in the nutrition/personal training field, so weight lifting isn't exactly greek to me.
honestly, not trying to be a jerk, but at 125 lbs I'd have to see 4 reps w/ 50lbs in one arm to believe it. you know, completely steady body except the arm (isolating the bicep), no rocking, slow up and down. be better off sitting down with your tricep on your inner thigh...if I saw that, I'd probably pay you.
