Yes, if the O2 sensor is the problem. And that would be a good test.







Given the amount of fun replacing the rear-most sensor, replace it with a new one(unless you really like cussing and having bruised, bloody knuckles and wrists). That used sensor is likely to not last very long back there. The P1131 code is usually pretty definitive on pinpointing a worn out sensor.

Just replaced mine last week. $65 at AutoZone for a Bosch. Old one lasted about 50K miles.
