It didn't pick up either of the accidents my BMW has been in - prior owner took out a deer: new fender, headlights, hood. The Wife took out the other fender, headlights, and wheel and suspension. Nothing showing up under accidents or major damage. No big deal, I'll own it until it's not worth much anyway.

yeah it doesn't show any accedents the previousn owner told me he was rearended and it doesn't say anything about it
but it does say were the car has been i must say its been to more places in its live than me
it started off in

Oh snap... forgot about that!
My old Contour and I were in an accident that went on Carfax like 6 months after it happend. Did not show up on this thing.

i dont think so, I think it's been over posted around the net, and hence probally been killed off.  If i find another carfax/autocheck link, ill post it. I needed to check another VIN myself, and no go If anybody beats me to it and can help me and this other guy, the VIN i need checked is 2g1fp22kxv2102534 Thankies!

how do these links that do it for free exist? are they test links for the people at carfax or autocheck?

well, you have the option to buy one report at around 20 bux, or like unlimited reports for 30-60 days, depending on promo or whatnot for like 25 bux. When you buy a unlimited reports package, you can run as many as you wish for the alloted time (30 or 60 days), and most people do this by letting people know and having them post their vin to have it run indvidually.
Well, if you want to, you can build a site and have it link directly to your account, with your login info so ANYBODY can view a vin instantly without waiting for you to run it individually and post it back to them, just like the way this guy did it. you cant see any of his login info because of the way he has it built. The OTHER way is sometimes when a website such as a local news station does a story on carfax, the have a link for a free carfax report for a limited a mount of time, normally like 1 to 7 days, after that the link is dead. That's usally how it works. I havent found ANYTHING tho lately, seems like no one has any free links.
