Let me wish you good luck.......25 years to retirement, you will be 44 y.o. Then using what you learned in the AF, continue in the private sector until 60. This will give 2 pentions and you may spend your idle time visiting your Grandchildren(they live in Hawaii). I met one Gent from L.A. who did this and is still touring North America and I work with another Vet whose plan this is. Oh ya, I'm 50,no kids and I get NO retirement! I am so far from it, I've picked out the bridge I plan to live under.
