IIRC it's been discussed here that doing crossovers just for the sake of having one is not beneficial.
Mufflers, resonators, straight pipe, 45-degree bend pipes, flex pipes, hangers, and flanges.
My suggestion would be to crawl under your car and take a look to get an idea of the way you want to route it based on whether or not you will use resonators or not. You could also design it to run with test-pipes when desired.
