yea its rough. I wa sjust woken out of a sound sleep to go put my plow on my truck and get to work. I saw the Pats last night too. I spent alot of the game shaking my head in disgust. But I made the best of the situation, I went to the fridge, got more beers for by buddies and poured myself a nice tall glass of Old Grand Dad on the rocks.

That storm was definitely loud. We were woken up at around 3 am by the storm and it was difficult to go back to sleep for about an hour We somehow finally caught those colds that people have had for the past month or so, so we're feeling like crap, and sleep is very important

I went to check on my roommate's ferrets at 2am last night (my roommates are all gone on a weekend retreat) and saw flashing lights out her front windows ... two ambulances, one fire truck and several police cruisers. They led some kid out from next door into one of the ambulances and then had to walk around everywhere to get statements and all ... right during the height of the freezing rain.

well its cold and windy here, I was just out to get a tank of gas for the car, I don't believe I drive for over a week on one tank ... , and to get groceries. The shopping centers were doing a better job of clearing the parking lots then the town was with the roads

I know what you mean, my car is a champ in the snow. I wish the parking lots were not as clear as they were otherwise I would have gone and done some doughnuts

We got a nice layer of ice on everything, then about 5" of snow! I don't understand, it was 55 degrees the day before and all the snow melted. Right now it is 0 degrees out.

Man, you're going to love 'em! I've had a set on my car since I bought it back in '00, and I just got 2 new ones for the front. Went out this morning while the roads were still covered and icy. I was taking off at stop lights like it was dry pavement while everyone else was creeping at 2mph! Just watch out for turning. They grab so well that you'll find you'll over compensate and have the rear kick a little.
Now, getting into the car with a frozen driver's side door was a different story. Had to start 'er up by pushing the clutch in with my snowbrush and let the interior warm up before I could even get in!
