Thanks! I'm gonna purchase the repair manual this weekend and see how heavy duty this repair is. If it's too complex then I will be sending it to the shop, if not then I will get my hands dirty for a legitimate reason (all I mess with is the lights, battery and the stereo...).

My EGR went on me. Do the suck test on it....pull off the hose on top of the the EGR then suck (to create the vacum) on the EGR and if the car stumbles it is fine, if it doesn't then you need to get a new one.
