-pour a little bit of rubbing alcohol inside it
-swish around for about 30 seconds
-pour the alcohol out
-let it dry "hole up" overnight in a DRY place with a desk lamp (not fluorecent) shining on it about two feet away.
Once you are ready to put it back on, check the O-ring seal. Make sure there are no kinks when putting it back in.
