There's an article in the How-to section on how to remove the reflectors. I took mine out in less than 45 mins and put in blue bulbs. It looks really cool and is definetly worth the time and effort.

The piece does come out on 98+ 'tours, but not on pre98s. Which is what he (and me) has.
