A couple of things come to mind for the 15 sec quarter, one it could be a guesstment, as these cars were not built for the quarter mile. A 100 mph trap speed sounds high for a 15 sec. time, it probably has road gearing and widely spaced gearing in the trans. The V-12 was not a torque monster motor, it is a high rpm motor so it takes a while for it to get to it's power band. I would bet also that the small tires and lack of traction could account for it also.
It is a nice car for what it is, a classic sports car and I bet a blast to drive, I would own one if I could afford it.
