hi.

i recently fixed my transmision an mtx-75 the problem is i don't remplace the Slave Cylinder and guess what happened i need it and i find over the web i need the full kit of clutch and the cost would be around 300 dlls i dont want to spend the money i want to kno if anybody know where i can buy the Slave Cylinder .

i live in mexicali mexico border of calexico california i ask by phone to the dealer in el centro and tell me their don't have separate only with the clutch kit

Well search the forums - there's been alot of discussions about these. I think ppl order them online from Bill Jenkins or Steve at Tousley ford too.

i search over the forum and don't find nothing i send a letter to a ford website and asking for the slave cylinder i hope respond quickly .

Why do you think you need a slave cylinder? Is it leaking hydraulic fluid?

yes is leaking fluid i changed the master cylinder and all is ok and in a day i need to fill with more liquid about half bottle and the main problem is the gears feel losy i need to change the gears before 3000 or the gear don't enter i have remplaced the clutch kit when i broke my diferential buth not remplaced the slave cylinder because the kit i bought don't come with it

Who pulls a transmission and doesn't replace the TOB/Slave?!!

I understand, sounds for sure like you are on the right track and need to change that slave cylinder.
Boy, I know how it is to not realize you should have done something like that and end up having to do a job twice over it.

Let me tell you this, IF you are pulling the transmission out again right now for the slave, I encourage you to get a Torsen LSD and install it.
Look how much you've already paid, and you don't want to have to pull this trans out again right? You like to drive your car and drive it hard. You will probably end up needing a differential again some time.
