ok, so I got this thing in the mail after finishing my stay at community college (it blows, but it's the #1 in the country so ), and I don't quite know what to make of it.

it says 1/2 of 1% people in college get it, and it sounds like it should be a pretty big honor, but I don't know if it's another one of those "oh everyone who gets good grades gets it." deals. anyone have any idea?

They just want your money. I got the same thing a couple years back, just junk mail in my opinion.

Who's who Among Students in American Junior Colleges/"" Universities "" American High School Students, and the National Dean's List.
Publications put out by companies who solicit excellent students to write a small autobio and submit it to them, with the hopes that the students will buy said publication.
I submitted my bio, but never bought a book.
Nice resume builder, though.

Oh, and an adult from your school has to nominate you for it.
