I had yellow-ish headlights on my Mystique, and the lighting pattern was not very good. I tried some polishing compound I bought a few years ago to see if it would make a difference, and boy did it!!
Now the yellow "stains" are gone, the headlight lenses are almost crystal-clear again - I only worked on them for 5-10 minutes max until it started to rain.
At night, the lighting is much more precise and intense - even my wife noticed and asked what I've done to the lights..
And all that with "el cheapo" bulbs.. Now if they could burn so I could replace them with serious ones..
