toothpaste ahnialated some pretty severe brake dust stains on my e-1's this weekend  ive had these stains for over a year to give you an idea, i've tried clear coat cleaner, body scrub, simple green, all the in store wheel cleaners, toothpaste + old brush = great lookin wheels! :p

I use toothpaste to clean up clear plastic for my models, should work for the head lights
Currently: 2002 ztw focus wagon, black, manual. Yippee it sucks!!

Use white toothpaste none of this colored crap. I use toothpaste to clean cds ive has ps2 gaems and psx games taht wouldnt play I use toothpaste to clean em and they play again..

when doing it to the headlights, is it from the inside or out ?

I had yellow-ish headlights on my Mystique, and the lighting pattern was not very good. I tried some polishing compound I bought a few years ago to see if it would make a difference, and boy did it!! Now the yellow "stains" are gone, the headlight lenses are almost crystal-clear again - I only worked on them for 5-10 minutes max until it started to rain. At night, the lighting is much more precise and intense - even my wife noticed and asked what I've done to the lights.. And all that with "el cheapo" bulbs.. Now if they could burn so I could replace them with serious ones..

i'm using this stuff called GS-27 "as seen on tv" it's some kind of scratch remover. it was about $8 at Wal-mart. not to bad but you really have to work it in.

I tried the Meguiars stuff on mine and it didn't help a hole bunch.  So I would try the toothpaste! I should go try it right now. I'll let you all know in a few
