I throughly researched my choice before deciding on it. I read dozens of owner reviews online, magazine articles etc,and after taking just a base model Cobalt LS sedan for a test drive I was more than impressed. I lose a little interior room,as it's narrower and more compact, but the trunk is still large,at 14 cubic feet, and has 60/40 folding seats, and FOUR cupholders that actually work! I haven't heard of any big problems with the Cobalts, and what problems there have been were all on '05's,and that's expected being a first year model, and I'm getting an '06,so some bugs will be worked out. But no car is perfect,so problems are expected no matter what you drive. Atleast because it's a GM,it'll be dirt cheap to fix if and when I do need to.
