what does everybody think about these? since i'm changing the color of my interior to black, these might be perfect if they are lightweight and the leather is of good enough quality. i emailed them to get all of the specs and the brand name so we'll see what the deal is.

I think they look great,

but its no leather. Some sortaa vinyl they like to call leatherette. I would prefer cloth over leatherette as you would get kinda sticky while driving! Vinyl doesn't breathe too well.

They are pimp tho smile

they definatly look sweet

but im gonna have to go w/ fmr12b and say that i would go w/ cloth... leather/ leatherette will not only make you sticky but they are extremely hot / cold in the seasons!!!!

but yea they do look nice smile atleast if you decided to get them you cant spill something on them and stain them lol

Hella, I think those match the original seats pretty good. The ribs and side contours are almost perfect. I say go with them. I love leather racing seats!

They look nice. Before you bid/purchase, try your hardest to find some kind of review of them from someone that has used them. The look and feel of them is just as important as the mechanics inside. Be careful and good luck with them.

funny you mention that, i was just looking at those last night too. got pics?

i think i'm on the same page with you guys. i need to hear back from them before any decision is made. hopefully they'll give me the damn brand name so i can do some research laugh . don't know how id feel about having something called "leatherette" inside my svt though lol.

btw rachel, you'd be surprised how much cooler your car stays with the windows tinted. leather seats aren't really a problem when you have a fairly dark tint, at least thats been my experience.

whenever some one uses the term "leather-like", run away as fast as you can! Would be nice if someone could start up a group buy on some seats. I've been looking at the Recaro "style" model, but also the Corbeau line of seats, which are quite reasonably priced. Whatever you decide, good luck! Remember that you might have to add brackets & sliders, which will run the cost up. Shipping charges are steep too! wink

Am I the only one who thinks these seats have nowhere the bottom cushion bolsters you'd want in a racing seat??

GTI leather seats have more support than this for sure. laugh

Back and shoulder support looks fine though. Nice setup for sure..

Try to find a local retailer to go sit in them maybe?? I've had to try a bunch of different models before finding one I really liked before. Long trips are painful if the seat doesn't fit right.
