Slim Jim can easily be used on power locks... what's the deal with saying "good luck" to that?
Of course.. I locked mine in with the SLIM JIM in the FREAKIN CAR! lol
I've done it enough on my car that I could do it one handed and blindfolded, now.

Your right, one of the mods should have moved it to the new forum "Locked Keys In Car".

Ah the SZ05 memories. I locked my keys in my trunk at Hector's place the day b4 SZ, i tried a hanger and gouldn't get it then i had a great idea...i said "Hector, you got a stock antenna sitting around" so he goes in the garage and gets an antenna and a needlenose pliers for me i bent it in the right shape to put through the top of the door and behind the handle, then turned it 90 degreed to pull the door handle inside the car and open it. I still have the antenna sitting here just in case.

Well if GM is anything like ford, then its more than 2 bucks First it costs 20bucks for a guy to go on to a computer to link up with the GM "car key" server (approx. 3 sec) and use a pen and scrap paper to write down the code that is entered into the key cutting machine. My door unlock key was 8bucks, the special ignition key with security chip was like 30. (yes the bonnie has 2 keys) I got lucky and the guy got the codes for me but had no more keys so he gave me them for free. ps, they will want to see some registration, hope the only copy isnt locked in the car!

actually, it cost $.89. Dad knows the guy who did it kinda good, so the guy did it with an employee dicount. It's only a flat key, and all dad took in was my VIN.

The GM dealer charged me the same amount... $8 per key on my old Grand Prix.
All they needed was the VIN, but they wanted registration/title and an ID.
