alright if you want to go down that road... the viper comes stock with the stripes and are a part of the look of the car. just like the gran sport corvet has the two stripes. dont think that im saying that if you put stripes on your car you are a ricer im sayiong stay with what is for the car. like what would come from the factory. whether it be a concept car look or just a production car look. take our cars for example.... we take normal gl, lx, se and even some svt and make them into an even better svt. we put on the kits and the exhaust and everything that would come on an svt. but that is as far as it should go. does the svt come with two racing stripes or a huge wing??? no!! it didnt even come with a wing for two years!! if it didnt come on the car then dont put it on it. unless you are the type of person that likes to be different then fine but dont expect everyone to have the same opinion of the work done. just because you get compliments fron the people that respond to your post doesnt mean that everyone on the site likes what you did. and if it comes on the car (i.e., the racing stripes on the viper :rolleyes: ) then by all means put it on your car. the racing stripes that are on that csvt in "my opinion" should not be on it. like i saids before if you want to put a little decals on the side windows or on the side skirts of what performance products that you have that is exceptable. but dont do all of this. plus there is no definition of what is rice and what isnt but these csvts that i keep seing for your examples of cars that get compliments are well on their way to being rice. now everyone can say that im wrong but i can still get others to back up what i say. and that think the same way that i do. i have this discussion with my friends everyday, and everytime one of the ricers roll by. even if it is a tour or even a vette for that matter. but like it was said before, lets just drop it because it can go on and on for many pages.
