I think they (Ford) should've gotten the launch of the car right, and I don't mean a take off either They expected 30% to go for the V8 and 70% to go for the V6 and it ended up vise versa, stupid, period Then the lack of "interior upgrade parts", the lawsuit with the colored dashlights, etc. I'm sorry, but I'll always be pissed off that I didn't get the chance to get the car, someone who SHOULD be in that car right now!!! Before anyone tells me "you should've waited", well, I wasn't going to be "held hostage" for till the end of Oct/beginning of Novemeber to get my car and even then, it was purely a guess on their part. When I got my deposit back there was a guy who ordered his car Oct 1st of 2004 and by the end of April, when I went in there to get my money back, he still hadn't gotten a VIN # yet SCREW THAT! I guess it just wasn't mean't to be, too bad because I really love that and even got to drive one on my birthday last year, I thought because of that, it was surely "mean't to be"

Yeah it was really stupid for them to base their numbers on the sales trends of

EVERY SINGLE MODEL MUSTANG EVER BUILT. What were they thinking. I haven't checked but I would bet the V6 still heavily outsells the GT, and not because of limited quantity. There is probably just a minor shift in demand.

Wow. I was expecting SOOOOO much more than that from the GT500. It looks decent from every angle but the front. The front is hideous, I'm sorry. Too much grill, not the right shape. The car just looks understated, which is fine, you know if you are like every single Cobra owner on earth who is just a quiet librarian with no personality. I dig the powertrain, even if it needs a blower to get to those levels of performance... to each his own.

Nice car. I have to give the SVT guys credit this time. Should be king of the road for under 50K(?) until a Kappa car comes out with a 6.0/7.0L.

But I tell you what, if it weren't for the badges and different rear-end, I wouldn't know the difference at-a-glance between it and a Roush(or was it Saleen? the one without foglights?)

I think I'll be waiting for the Challenger SRT8 to come out and then put the GS Motorsport blower kit on it. For about the same amount of money, one could have a MUCH better looking car with comparable performance.

*sigh* Ford is going bland on us again....

You continue to amaze with such illogical statements.

The fact that a 17-18 year old driving an ATX Zetec Contour, saying he's going to wait for the SRT8 Challenger to come out is what made me laugh. Yeah, most teenagers with hand-me-down cars are always ready to plunge into a $40k car payment.

paint the lower valence and side skirts to match the body color to give it a lower stance look and your golden. I wish I could have one.

I like the front, but it looks too high, and needs lower profile tyres and bigger wheels. Apart from the front end, I dont think it looks special enough over the regular stangs.

The Saleen stangs, now thats how you visually tart up a Mustang

Maybe you havent ever seen a Cobra before, this one probably has the most changes (visually) over the 04, 98 etc.

Those years basically incorporated a different rear bumper and round foglights, not much of a difference.

I dunno if this was the concept or not, but I was hoping something more along the lines of this:

EDIT: Ok mark, relax - anyway, I can't find any pics, but it's on this page in the middle - PLEASE NOTE : NWS ! http://www.angelfire.com/gundam/latinoppimp/about_me/

However, it's still the best damn mustang ever and I wish I could afford one.
