I like the toss a turbo on the Mustang GT comment...

Ford a good turbo setup you're going to spend a good 6 grand. (for a bolt on setup)
To upgrade the brakes you are going to spend another 3 grand.

You then are going to spend another 2 grand on wheels and tires so you can fit the upgraded brakes.

Then you figure you are going to have to upgrade the clutch & flywheel... another $500

Then you need a better LSD... there's another $500

We just hit the $12,000 mark and we have a stock looking turbo Mustang GT that may make more power then a GT500, but it will overheat because you you don't have the cooling capacity needed for the setup and you can't get enough air through the front end of the car and out through the hood.

The car's trans and drive shaft isn't going to take the added power of the engine and the engine.

I'm sorry... you aren't going to get the power, performance & durability as a GT500 by buying a GT and dropping $12k into it.
As for it looking bland... So has pretty much every Cobra (or every SVT vehicle for that matter) that came before it.
