If I were you I would: vaccuum, clean the carpet (resolve or whatever), then use Meguiar's Gold Glass vinyl/rubber cleaner on the dash, console, etc,, then Gold Glass leather conditioner on the seats (if you have leather). I'm not sure what I'd do about cloth seats other than taking them to get steamed.
The Gold Glass products will be best at bringing new, better odors to your car.
EDIT: Just saw the screen name, know you got leather.

My car does when it rains, even though it is not wet in the inside.

I ran over a stunk when my SVT was only 3 weeks old...( skunk was fine btw)...it took a long time before THAT smell disappeared. I went to a detailing shop and they used some sort of ionizer to neutralize the smell....but it took time. Another source might be the air vent system...which is a pita to troubleshoot. A thorough cleaning is a good start.

Also try a bar of soap under the seat. Or leave a small bowl or two of Baking soda on the floor overnight, that should soa up any mosture left previously.

But don't get baking soda on carpet or upholstery. It bleaches the fabric/carpet. Found this out the hard way after a backed up storm sewer flooded my street and filled my old Daysun 210 up to the bottom of the windshield with yucky water. The Baking Soda helped the smell but I had put it directly on the carpet hoping the carpet would smell better. It did, but when I vacuumed it up, the carpet was white under the powder.
