Not a chance Brady is "one of the two best QBs in the past 15 years".
manning wouldnt be either if he didnt win..all his records and whatever dont mean ANYTHING if he doesnt have a ring IMO

Marino didn't win and his records still mean something.

ultimate goal in football IMO is to get a ring..getting 3 isn't an easy task nor somthing you see frequently. Now I'm not saying Brady is the best, but he def. should be given credit for what he has done..

Chris Simms is such a little girl whiney [censored]. He sucked in college and the only reason he got the starting job at Texas was cause of his daddy. Same goes for him being a starting quarterback. Seneca Wallace, Rohan Davey and even Marcus Tuiasasopo are better than Chris Simms.

I don't know, he has won 20% of the Super Bowls during that time and never lost a playoff game. If he wins a 4th this year, does he get some consideration? I mean, he had his best regular season so far, and won despite having his team ravaged by injuries. He should have been the MVP this year.
BTW, I said it to rile a couple of people up, but when it comes down to stats, rings, etc, it's hard to argue he isn't the best.

Goonz, I'm as big of a Brady fan as anyone, but you can't dismiss Manning. He is the epitome of a "field general" and the only QB I have seen that is a better offensive coordinator then just about every offensive coordinator in the league. As much as I hate Tennessee's football program and anything spawned from it, he is a phenom.

A few QBs in the last 15 years worth nothing:
Dan Marino
John Elway
Brett Favre
Steve Young
Jim Kelly
Troy Aikman
Kurt Warner
Peyton Manning
Donavan McNabb
Warren Moon
I would take any of those QBs in their prime over Brady. Easily.
(And Brady doesn't even make my top 25 QBs of all-time.)
IMO using Super Bowl rings as the measuring stick for being the "best" QB is ludicrous. You would exclude some of the greatest QBs in NFL history.

The only flaw I see in your reasoning is that you are thinking about only one player on the team.
It takes a team to win, not a QB. With out the rest of his team, Brady is crap. There has been given a list of QB's some with rings, some with out, all better than Brady.
Just a Plain SE.
