P0420: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)
This is the code i got before i took it in for the analysis. which to me means one of the following:
-Leaded fuel was used where unleaded was called for
-An oxygen sensor is not reading (functioning) properly
-The engine coolant temperature sensor is not working properly
-Damaged exhaust manifold / catalytic converter / exhaust pipe
-Retarded spark timing
Then the shop, after running the analysis, told me it was the catalytic converter. so i'm not exactly sure if it is the main cat or the precats that are the issue here.
