Well my dog dog died wednesday, my gf found her dead on the floor when she got back home from work, the vet said that she had a heart attack, i still can't figure out how a 5 year old dog in very good shape can have a heart attack. My gf is crushed cause it was "her" dog, she followed her arround like her shadow. We will both miss her

Im sorry to hear that, I lost my first dog last year and it was hard. But ever since I got a new puppy it has been easier.

Sorry man. I know how you feel. I lost my buddy of 15 years this summer. What was worse is that I had to put him down, so I held him while he died. Broke my fuggin' heart. After my current dog is gone, no more dogs for me. It ain't worth it.

1 Human year = 7 Dog years I believe. So she was 35 years old. That's definitely pretty young for a heart attack, but they don't have the same biological clocks as we do. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I never had any actual pet growing up, so I never knew how people could get so emotional when losing a pet. I've had my dog for 1-1/2 years now, and don't know what I'll do when she's gone.

ahh that sucks! i'm sorry to hear that man. i like dogs better than people most of the time. i hope there's a heaven for dogs. they deserve it.

Sorry to hear about your dog . I know what it's like to lose a pet - I've lost 2 in the last 2 years . It's a tough one to deal with . The only good thing is , she died at home , where she was familiar & comfortable .

Thanks for the support people, i was feeling kind of weird being all emotional, not everyone has a close bond to their pet, i'm glad that i'm not the only one Even one of my cats is somewhat depressed, her and the dog were always together sleeping , eating , cathing flies Anyway thanks again guys
