Or didn't like the spoiler and swapped the decklid or filled the holes.....big thread over at miata.net about doing that with the Mazdaspeeds.

It's located in Sterling MA which is where we used to start the central MA fall meet (Dunkin Donuts parking lot). Curious mods...very curious....

WTF is up with the Mondeo trip computer? Did I miss that thread completely?

I emailed him about the Mondeo trip computer. Maybe I'll finally install mine, if he responds with how he made a pigtail. Also, those are NJ tags...

Steve's response:

"If you go to radio Shack you can find little connectors in single rows that will plug into the back of teh computer. Then you cross reference: http://www.mirez.co.uk/Trips.htm

with the wiring diagrams found in chiltons to make it all work. remember the Gallon is 4/5 of an american gallon.

For one of the wires you have to go to the EEC huge plug and simply drill a small hole where the wire should be and connect to the pin underneith."

I think I am going to finally try to make my own pigtail and get this baby installed.

Wow, everytime I looked at Mondeo pictures, for some reason, I always thought the trip computer looked much larger than our clocks. This is definitely on my list of mods now.
