I was listening to Car Talk on NPR a few weeks ago and a caller asked this same question. Click and Clack (sp?) said it had to do with the types of tires there were using. A certain material inside the tire. It doesnt seem all that logical but heck, thats what they said. Thought I would throw this into the mix.
