V6... I came across that on MEG when searching about fuel pumps.

Oh, I do remember that they had a theory of early/late engines. I can't really remember, but I know you could tell by the color of the valve covers or the timing cover or something (either black or silver).

Quite a few of the posts were jealous of Contours and our non-headgasket-blowing Duratecs, even though they were built alongside each other. They were going to the extreme and wondering if it was the gas they use.

It wasn't blowing on just one cylinder though, not even two, but three cylinders... You can probably guess where if you know the head gaskets on these.

Still, i've checked the heads and the block (just to be sure) and it looks flat, so thats good news at least.
