It may be just me, but I wouldn't sell a FSVT for a Fusion with my only option as an ATX - and no, the 4 banger with an MTX is no better. You'd have to throw a TON of money into it to make that porker fast.

Funny... you can get a 5spd MTX w/ the 2.3L. and there are a lot of upgrades for that combo and that engine responds quite well to mods. For under $4k I can be making a nice 250 naturally aspirated bhp with the Cosworth Racing upgrades or I can spend the same and make nearly 400hp with a Draxis or FS Werks Turbo setup. Then again I can do both...

I'd also like to point out that my insurance for a fully loaded 2.3L MTX Fusion SEL is nearly $50 a month less then my SVTF, I'll save money on gas, and my payment will go down a few bucks too.
I miss having a sedan and after driving both ATX V6 and the MTX I4 Fusions I'm really impressed by it.

If you really want to know, I'm in process of ordering a '06 Fusion SEL 2.3L MTX, Tungsten Silver w/ Black Leather. Current options are heated seats, audiophile 8spkr stereo, SEL premium option package, ABS. NO moonroof, NO premium active safety system (side curtains)

Basically I want sedan. I miss my contour, but I want reliability and be able to save a little money on operating costs. Not to mention I really like how the Fusion looks & drives.
