Great success in college means very little in the pros.
He reminds me alot of Vick. He maybe good for a year or until everyone figures him out.
He is a lot better passer than Vick. Vick can only throw crazy hard bullet passes to his receievers. Young also knows when to stay in the pocket.

We'll see. He appears to have better passing capabilities than Vick but as I recall, Vick actually through the ball pretty well in college. All I know is I would take a chance on Vince Young if I were an NFL team looking for a spark on the offensive side of the ball. Matt Millen, are you listening?

Vick has a rediculously strong arm but thats about all he has going for him. Accuracy is horrible for an NFL QB and he doesn't make good reads on a consistant basis. Usually the passes he does complete are either lucky throws where the reciever makes a good catch or passes to the TE. Since teams have to respect his running ability so much the TE is usually able to find a hole in the defense. I watch a lot of falcons games and he is both the most fun and most frustrating player on the field to watch.
Vince Young isn't quite as fast as Vick but can run over DBs. His arm in not as strong and he throws like a 12 year old girl but I think he is more accurate overall than Vick, although I will admit I have only watched 3 Texas games this year and probably 10+ Falcons games

Vince Young is always in control of the game, that was the difference in the game. No turnovers, only 10 incomplete passes, and over 400 total yards. He played amazing. I still think Reggie Bush is the "real" Heisman. If you didn't notice LenDale White had a real big game for USC by running the ball up the middle, exposing a weakness in Texas and taking advantage of their great offensive line. They'll all be good pros I think.

first and foremost congrats texas for the win. and now to talk about vince young, i find it amusing for someone to say he has "horrible" mechanics. look at brett farve do you see anybody else in the nfl that throws like he does? no. he always holds the ball way too low and hucks it into his recievers but...he still has been an amazing QB. and any qb that throws 30-40 in any game has to be doing something right with that "awful" mechanics. and now i really found it amusing when somebody compared vince to donovan. last i checked donovan isn't that fast and is mainly a pocket passer yeah he'll take off once in a while but myabe for 5-7 yards. also donovan is terrible look at what happened this season without any wide recievers donovan is terrible. i think vince will stay one more year to lock down his mechanics and then go top 5 next season. he will turn out to be a good qb, better then vick but not as good as some players out there.

i went to a strip club for a friends birthday and they had the game on a big screen. The girls were getting mad because the guys weren't paying attention to the game and cheering but not for them.
