But, going to another site that would welcome this entire blown-out-of-proportion argument a little more open-armed would be a great thing. (again, I am not leaving anyone out.. everyone can feel free to copy/paste this entire thread and move it along to ANY other forum... )
I understand what you're saying Ray. I'm just saying I'm not trying to make excuses or really accuse the otherside of anything. I'm just debating the topic. I respect others' opinions, though will debate them, and definitely respect their choices. Debates occasionally do sway the few open minded people in this world to one side or another. At the very least, it can show BOTH sides how the other side feels and why.
I agree arguing it on a contour forum will do nothing/very little. Sharing on other forums will result about the same. I wish I could openly discuss this topic in public. Unfortunately, it would hurt my chances at job opportunities,etc. So until I'm financially secure, the internet is my only outlet, however useless it may be.

I can't catch any of those things from shooting anyone, either.. but trying to justify that IT should be okay, is as ludacris as comparing weed and ciggarettes (simply because they are both smokeable, or held in the hand, or what?) You guys keep talking about how weed can be inhaled and not burned... well.. that removes your cig:weed correlation, so stop using it for a comparison. if you aren't gonna leave them the same, they aren't the same.. simple as that. You guys won't "allow" a comparison of an SRT-4 to a v8 cobra, because its "apples and oranges" then so is this. either you smoke both, or you don't, in which case weed is MORE harmful than a cigarette (none of that.. well I don't smoke as many joints as cigarettes, crap.. how MANY you CHOOSE to smoke doesn't make the single ONE any less dangerous...)

EDIT: I don't want people to jump to any conclusions... I would be jumping anyone else's "reasonings" if they were off, too... If the anti-weed people were saying that cigs were harmless, comparatively speaking, etc, I would re-quote them, and find the irregularities in that, too.. Its just what I do... nothing personal, or of any particular persuation.

The mods can feel free to lock this, I have no problem. It did get blown out of proportion and it has left it's original intent. I do not want to see people pick on each other. We all live different lives, some completley different than each other. We are here at CEG for one common goal. To help each other.
Just like many different things as religion, politics, and even cars for that mattter, sometimes we have to agree to disagree.

So does William F. Buckley (or so I hear), though while I might admire the accomplishments and vision that Sagan, Gates and Buckley all have given the human race, I don't really think toking up has much to do with their mental abilities or their accomplishments in life.
