i did a little searching but couldn't find anything much related.
here goes.
my g/f was following me back from store and said that my car's exhaust smelled.
now, i gutted my precats and installed a high flow cat about a year ago on my 1998 contour svt.

question:
How would i go about getting the exhaust to not smell as bad??

by not gutting you're precats... the combo of that and prenium gas might make it smell pretty rich.

Everytime mine smelled evil it was running rich - usually from the MAF needing cleaned. I over oiled my K & N once and gunked up the wire.
