I agree... but the high-po versions of it looked OK with their add ons. The regular version?  IMO
Same for the Mustang II and the early fox bodies (capri too). Wasn't until 88 (or the SVO...) that they started to look OK again. And they've been that way ever since (maybe 2005 excluded... I like it a lot in person).
