Hobbies I'm trying to develop:
Kiteboarding (most addictive watersport I've tried)
I used to kayak a lot in GA and TN (loved that hobby), but finding rapids in SE Texas is impossible. Kiteboarding is starting to take it's place as Galveston and Corpus Christi have a few decent spots for the activity. I still surf every now and then on vacation, but it's like scuba for me; something to do every now and then and not something to go bonkers over.
Kiteboarding may have me hanging up the rock-climbing equipment and racquets for an extended period of time. It's worse than drugs...
