Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums General Troubleshooting To Hell with the Contour Sunroof motor assembly

I've gone through two aftermarket gears for my CSVT's sunroof and both of them stripped out. I've done everthing correctly. I alligned the motor correctly and properly lubed the assembly.
The last thing I want to do is give up but what choice do I have left? Is there any other option? Does anyone know if another cars model (i.e. Taurus assebly) would fit in the Contour?
I'm so fed up with this I could scream.
