I knew if I baught an SVT I would take awesome care of it since I know the problem areas... I probably will end up keeping the tour. im ordering parts some misc parts tomorrow so I can keep busy fixing it up back to better then it was before I baught it.

Dude, the ZX2 is TINY compared to anything that isn't a clown car. A friend of mine (petite chick) had one and I hated riding in it because it hurt to get in. You've got a pre-98 MTX Contour...that's got the rod shifter and the stronger diff, so just stick with that, build up the Zetec to make some more power if that's what you're looking for, and do the suspension when (if) you get the money. I bet your dad could swallow a $1000 loan for a BAT suspension and a new set of brakes or tires than the loan on a ZX2.

I agree about keeping the contour. There isn't really a reason to go from a contour to an escort unless there is a serious problem with the contour and you're getting some great deal on the escort. Just keep the contour stock and running good and keeping save money and get something cool one day.

The zx2 isn't hard to get into. Atleast not for regular size people.
