Something felt funny abotu 2nd gear... like it engauged fine, but accelerating from a low rpm was kind of jolty...
Oh that sounds like a great idea
Exactly. From one POS to another!
For 6-7K you could get a decent SVT that hasn't been smashed and nneeds this, that and the other. Personally I think the ZX2 is fugly and the quitessential hairdresser's car.
ive actually made the decision to stay away from it... Something just didnt feel right when I drove the car. Im going to stick with instinct on this one. As for an SVT, I would love one. But Couldnt afford the upkeep, nor the gas of one.
Yeah the extra couple cents you pay for premium is a killer!
Just messing with ya jared...

A buddy of mine has one. Its had all sorts of electrical problems. There was always a new rattle each day and the windows didnt seal very good with the roof. Bottom line: there are better cars out there...

Yeah that extra $3 a fill-up with premium is brutal!
But paying insurance and upkeep on ANOTHER car makes more sense!

Alias, you'd be best off staying with the Contour. It's paid off, I'm assuming? Any repairs are going to be less than another car, and you're familiar with it. Why buy someone else's problems, to find out that they were more of a headache than your Contour? Every post of yours says how you can't afford this or that, so why give yourself a car payment on a car that will need repairs on top of that? Start saving your pennies to replace the clutch if it's necessary. As for the suspension, roll that sh!t into the ground! I've driven dozens of cars with 150k mile suspensions, and none of them have caused me to crash, burn, flip, slide, or skid.

So are you saying I'm the quintessential 19 yr old male version of Barbara Streisand?
I liked my ZX2. And...um...it was pretty. God is good. Stop yelling at me.

How about one with leather?
my girlfried had a black s/r edition..fun little car,her dad bought it for her for graduation, cel came on and wouldnt go off, after several trips back and forth and alot of switcing plugs,o2's,cat..the dealership just gave him his money back.......and to find one with leather is a real find..

I do like the look of the 03's a hell of a lot more... I understand what people mean by my "I cant afford this and that" stuff. But my dad said he would give me a loan and I could pay him back at my leasure. The only reason why I dont want an SVT is because of Differential and Syncro problems. I knew if I baught an SVT I would take awesome care of it since I know the problem areas... I probably will end up keeping the tour. im ordering parts some misc parts tomorrow so I can keep busy fixing it up back to better then it was before I baught it.

Wow, if that's your reasoning then you need a slap in the face.
