Just posting some pics to show the stages my tour has gone through and how crappy it is now. Pics are from shortly after purchase,right up till a few days ago. Sad way for this car to end. It still has so much potential,but I've had to give up on it.

Shortly after purchase: May '04. Current mods: E1 rims,Ractive muffler,JVC head unit.

Same time as the others. Right after being washed. Forgot to mention the tinted windows. All the dash & interior trim (door handles,console,radio surround,vent surrounds etc) was painted silver at this time as well.

So then I knauberized it. That didn't turn out well. Ended up peeling the paint off the doors on the passenger side after having the driver's side turn out beautifully. Temporary paint job ensued. At this stage,SE skirts were added,as well as a temporary aftermarket billet fuel door,as there was no fuel door when I bought the car. I also tinted the front corners from the inside,and the molded trunk is also installed at this time,as well as the dual exhaust.This is probably the best pic of my car in it's best state. A far cry from how it looks today.

Here's another good pic. At this point,this is during the week I had started the paint job. Looking closely,you can see some light and dark spots in the paint. This is only the first coat,not wetsanded. I stood on the roof of my Isuzu Trooper to take this pic. This must have been around July or August. Corner lights weren't tinted yet. I also had Hella Optliux 2500's installed by this time.

This is a cool pic someone took of my car at one of my Celica club meets.
Here's the interior from a few days ago. Ractive shift knob and boot,removed reverse lockout,Sony head unit,and chameleon green/purple paint.Green LEDs in the front foot wells too.

Now we're into the final stage. Winterized. The SVT rims are sold,the skirts are off for the winter,as is the billet fuel door. The Hellas were broken,so they're also gone,the silver pinstripe is removed from the doors,the decal is taken off the windshield,and the molded trunk never got finished and painted.
I don't even like the trunk.Well...it might look ok if it was painted to match,but I think I went overboard. I started out with the plan just to mold the plate frame. After I figured out how easy that was,I kept going....
Dual exhaust looks good though. It's stupid loud. Like,really stupid loud.

I wanted to do an SVT rear bumper,Pre98 SVT bumper,keep the SE skirts,paint the entire car Lexus graphite,polish the SVT rims,SVT brakes,3L swap,custom stereo setup in the trunk,reupholster the interior and do all sorts of crap to it,but I need a truck now,so the end of the tour is near. It's unfortunate,because I got so far with this car,and it was looking like this was a project that was gonna go through,because I even bought the Zetec as a winter beater,then I decided to do the Zetec instead,hence why there are snow pics for this car,but now,both cars are going to be sold off or scrapped sometime this year,probably by the end of the summer.
