Becherovka is a very unique er, substance. It's a nostalgia thing as much as a fun to drink thing for myself and a buddy who discovered it (in mass quantity) in Prague. IIRC, the day after back then was much more challenging.
Perhaps not the best way, or traditional by Czech standards, but we shake with ice and strain into shot glasses. Last night there was enough left for 2 hits each. You could attribute the 'hammered' look to the rest of the evenings livations:

Duckhorn Merlot (x2 bottles) w/ big dinner
Tequilatini's (3 Generations Anejo/Cointreau/splash cranberry)

More red wine (Penfolds Cabernet iirc)
