Probably for the same reason Michigan didn't get flagged for their players running onto the field. But I have to say, all that Mich player has to do is lateral or fumble it back and either Breaston or the other guy runs it in for a touchdown and Michigan wins the game. Don't think for a minute that if they actually did score that it wouldn't have counted.

WTF is with having referees from the Sunbelt Conference officiating a game between two power conference teams? They have never refereed a game with players of that athletic caliber, and it obviously showed. The plays that confused them the most were quick plays that other, more-experienced referees would have been more used to calling. I know it's the Alamo Bowl and the referee budget is probably about $75, but come on.
