Hey guys. I have been looking and looking. What I am thinking of is a older style console in my '00 SVT.
I have read a lot of the cupholders being a big problem for some. For me this is trivial. What I would like to do is put an equalizer in a console that would work my ES like Sony.
This is not the only reason I am doing this, but I just think the smoother lines would improve the looks.
I really thought about this when I saw a dealership's preview video of a 98 SVT with an older console.
What do you think of this (my) console? Itīs from a 1993 Mondeo....

I saw that, but I will not work in my car. I do not have that extra space below my stereo. If I were to put this in my car there would be a sace between the top of the console and the bottom of the dash.
This is the way the 1993-2000 Mondeos in Europe are.

Yes, as you can see the early console can be fit to the later cars. I know of four or five people right off the top of my head that have one installed, including my self. And mine is in a 98.5 ATX...It looks much much better than the original piece. Only concern is that you'll have to paint it to match if you have the Midnight Blue interior. I don't have my pics uploaded right now but I will and I'll get back to this post when they're done.
Just ordered a console and clock from a guy I found in the classified section for @58.00 (including shipping and handling for both pieces. Hopefully the tan color matches the one I have now, and a clock, now I can use the different displays on my stereo. Woo Hoo. I'll keep you guys posted on how my install goes.
