I make diagnoses from tissues (biopsies, surgical specimens) and fluids (e.g. Pap smears, blood drawn from a vein). Occasionally, it involves doing autopsies, but people seem to be most interested in that.

Here's a view of a breast biopsy from a woman who felt a lump and had a suspicious mammogram:

Looks like cancer... but it's not, so a benign diagnosis saves this lady from the complications of a lymph node dissection.

Thanks for all the kind words....I figure I will definitely pick up sme practical skills. Plus, I will have the "run" of the extensive base Facilities for my car "projects". There's many things I am looking forward to, but, having to keep up with a group of teenagers ain't one of them-geez, it's harder to get into shape.

On another note, my wife purchased me a set of Ford Racing bulbs and fog lights (cost 10.25$ on EBAY!!) for my Lumina, and they are BRIGHT!! It's nice to still have a car to "wrench" on..... It only took me 2.5 hours to install both-they NEVER make the wiring harness for those "universal" kits long enough!!
